Digital FX in Architecture
In the Fall 2022 Semester, I took a senior seminar about Digital FX and Architectural Visualization in Architecture taught by our department head Matt Knox. Architectural Visualization is a unique medium to allow viewers to feel and experience architectural space. Architectural drawings and renderings alone may not completely help viewers understand 3-dimensional space. Animation and digital effects are great tools to help create a special way to articulate spatial experience.

Digital Architecture 2
The following work was developed from a digital architecture class focused on architectural visualization in the Summer of 2020. The class was given a simple rectilinear form for a wedding chapel. We could not change the base rectilinear form of the chapel but we were tasked with creating the surrounding context to enhance the building's overall experience. The additions of the exterior columns over the reflecting pool is a representation of two families coming together and joining to create a special moment that frames the view of the main platform.
